Directing is an initiating function of management that initiates the work on plan. In an organization directing ensures quality performance of jobs by the employees and achievement of organizational goals. Directing involves supervision, communication, providing leadership and motivation to the subordinates so that they can contribute their best to the organisation
Co-Ordination is a hidden force which binds all the other functions of management. Co-ordination helps in unification, integration of all the efforts of group members so as to provide unity of action to achieve organizational goal.
