On an average 5 or 6 question appears form this section in all government jobs, sarkari naukri exams. In this section a statement is provided which is divided into three parts. In case there is an error in any of these parts candidates must identify the part which contains the error. In case there is no error then candidates must choose fourth part which says no error.
 
These questions appear in following two formats

FORMAT I
Example 1
Paradise lost(1)/ is(2)/ a epic poem(3). No error(4)
Answer: Part 3 Contains and error. It should by AN EPIC POEM.

Example 2
I called(1)/ at his house yesterday(2)/ and have given him money. (3)/ No Error(4)
Answer: Part 1 as it is in past tense and rest sentence is in present tense.

Format 2
Example 1
My cousin cannot understand why his teacher says that the earth move round the earth.
(1) teacher says
(2) cannot understand
(3) No error
(4) move round the
Answer Option 4 as for universal truths Simple Present tense is used.
